IT system maintenance

PANTHEON needs a tidy, maintained IT system to run. We maintain servers, domains, the network and network equipment, computers, firewalls, NAS devices and the Office 365 package. The same partner looks after the program and the system it runs on, so there is no hunting for who is to blame when something fails.

What we maintain

  • servers: physical and virtual servers that run PANTHEON and your data,
  • domains and their settings,
  • the network and network equipment: the local and domain network, switches, access points,
  • users’ computers,
  • firewall: network protection and VPN,
  • NAS devices: storage and data copies,
  • the Office 365 package: users, licences and settings.

The list can be extended to similar equipment, depending on what your company uses.

Why the same partner

When PANTHEON does not work, the cause is often a computer, a printer, the network or a server. When the same team maintains both the program and the IT system, there is no hunting for who is to blame between suppliers: one partner knows the whole chain, from the workstation to the database.

Technical database maintenance and backup are described on the Server and backup page. If you do not want a server of your own, see PANTHEON hosting.

Frequently asked questions

What does IT system maintenance cover?

Maintenance of servers, domains, the network and network equipment, computers, firewalls, NAS devices, the Office 365 package and similar equipment. We agree the exact list based on your system.

Why IT maintenance from the same partner as PANTHEON?

When PANTHEON does not work, the cause is often a computer, the network or a server. When the same team maintains the program and the IT system, the problem is traced and solved in one place, without passing responsibility between suppliers.

Is database maintenance the same as IT system maintenance?

No. Database maintenance (referential integrity, transaction logs, the event log) is described separately, on the Server and backup page.
