How our ready-made solutions are created
Most of our solutions started as a specific client problem that turned out to be shared by many companies. When something works well for one client, we turn it into a module others can use too. Some are general, such as automatic payment reminders, and some are built for specific industries, such as forestry or charter companies. For entirely new requirements we develop a custom add-on.
What we develop most often
- Add-on modules for processes PANTHEON does not cover, e.g. tracking timber harvesting and dispatch (our ArsSelva solution) or synchronization with charter booking systems (Charter).
- Automations that remove manual work: automatic payment reminders to customers, barcode goods entry, and customer financial indicators shown on documents (ArsFinInfo).
- Checks in external systems: PANTHEON connected to the VIES database checks whether a partner is VAT registered, and the reference number of the check is stored with the import or export document.
- Portals connected to PANTHEON: ArsURA for receiving incoming invoices, a B2B ordering portal and a packing control web portal.
- Reports and analytics: custom printouts, management reports, and a data warehouse with Power BI on top of PANTHEON data.
- Connections to other systems through PANTHEON Web Service (API), the database, or file exchange.

Are ready-made solutions and custom add-ons the same thing?
A ready-made solution is an add-on that grew out of a real project and turned out to be useful to other companies too, so it can be introduced quickly. A custom add-on is developed for your process. We adapt both to your needs.
Will custom features still work after a PANTHEON upgrade?
We keep custom features as separate from standard PANTHEON as possible, and adapt them to new versions when needed if the client has a maintenance agreement.
How is custom development billed?
After the analysis you receive a quote with a description of the functionality and an estimate of hours. We split larger projects into phases so you can see and use the results as early as possible.
We only have an idea, not a specification. Is that enough?
Yes. We write the specification together with you, based on conversations with the people who use the process every day.
