# WooCommerce and PANTHEON ERP integration

> The WooCommerce and PANTHEON ERP integration connects to the WooCommerce API. PANTHEON sends items, prices, categories and stock to the web, and picks up webshop orders and turns them into orders or invoices. Nobody re-types orders by hand.

## What the integration does

The integration connects to the WooCommerce API and exchanges data in both directions. The exact way depends on the project, and in general it looks like this.

**From PANTHEON to WooCommerce (push):**

- **items** with SKU, name, price, promotional price, metadata and various tags,
- **categories**,
- **stock levels**.

**From WooCommerce to PANTHEON (pick-up):**

- **orders in a chosen status.** Depending on the status in PANTHEON, an order is created (with a firm stock reservation if needed) or an invoice,
- new customers go into the partner register.

When an invoice is created it is sent to the customer by e-mail automatically, and the invoice PDF is also visible in WooCommerce.

## How often data is transferred

We agree the frequency per client. As a guide: items are updated in real time (adding or changing an item reaches the web at once), stock is sent every 15 to 30 minutes, and orders are picked up roughly every 5 minutes.

## Example of a custom add-on: payment and order status

Besides the standard flow we build custom add-ons. In one project PANTHEON downloads the bank statement (RBA) every 30 minutes and, if a quote has been paid in the meantime, changes the order status automatically. Orders paid by bank transfer move on without a manual check of the payment.

## No need to involve your developer

We build the whole integration, both sides: PANTHEON and the connection to WooCommerce. Your web developer does not have to program the data exchange, and we do not ask you to hire one. One team is responsible for the whole flow, from the webshop order to the invoice in PANTHEON, so responsibility is not passed between suppliers. If you have a developer who builds the look of the store, we work independently of them.

### Do we need a WooCommerce developer for the integration to work?

No. We build the integration end to end, on the PANTHEON side and on the WooCommerce connection side, so you do not have to hire a webshop developer. We only need access to your store's API.

### Does the integration work with any WooCommerce version?

The integration uses the WooCommerce API. Before we start we check the version and the plugins you use, e.g. for product variants or shipping methods.

### How often is data synchronised?
