# Saleor and PANTHEON ERP integration

> Saleor is an open-source headless e-commerce platform. PANTHEON ERP sends items, prices and stock through its API, and picks up orders, turning them into orders or invoices. We have also put a loyalty programme connected to the web into production on Saleor. We build the whole integration ourselves.

## What the integration does

Saleor offers an API and webhooks, and the integration exchanges data in both directions. The exact way depends on the project, and in general it looks like this.

**From PANTHEON to Saleor (push):**

- **items** with SKU, name, price, promotional price, metadata and tags,
- **categories**,
- **stock levels**.

**From Saleor to PANTHEON (pick-up):**

- **orders in a chosen status.** Depending on the status, PANTHEON creates an order (with a firm stock reservation if needed) or an invoice,
- new customers go into the partner register,
- the order status goes back to Saleor.

The invoice is sent to the customer by e-mail automatically.

## Loyalty programme connected to the web

On a Saleor project we have put a loyalty programme connected to the web into production, next to the exchange of orders, items and stock:

- **points** are collected according to the customer rules,
- on each order the customer is offered to **spend points**, and the invoice is reduced by that amount,
- **gift vouchers:** if someone wants to spend a physical gift voucher on the web, they can, and the system knows how much of the voucher has already been spent.

Customer activity in the store and data from PANTHEON work together, without manual re-entry between systems.

## No need to involve your developer

We build the whole integration, both sides: PANTHEON and the connection to Saleor. Your web developer does not have to program the data exchange, and one team is responsible for the whole flow from order to invoice. If someone else builds the store's look (the headless frontend), we work independently of them.

- transferring orders to PANTHEON (as an order or an invoice),
- syncing items, categories, prices and stock,
- sending the order status back to Saleor,
- connecting to payment (e.g. Stripe) and a courier service,
- a loyalty programme (points, spending points on an order) and gift vouchers, as agreed.

### Do we need a Saleor developer for the integration to work?

No. We build the integration end to end, on the PANTHEON side and on the Saleor connection side, so you do not need a webshop developer for the data exchange. The look of the store (frontend) is a separate matter.

### Why a headless webshop?

A headless solution separates the look of the store from the sales system. The web can be very fast and fully customised, while Saleor and PANTHEON run orders, catalogue and stock in the background.

### Can you also connect a loyalty programme?

Yes. Points are collected according to the customer rules, and on each order the customer is offered to spend the points, which reduces the invoice. We have also connected gift vouchers: a physical gift voucher can be spent on the web, and it is known how much has already been spent.
